I was incredibly fortunate to be part of the team that created The Maine Thing Quarterly, an immersive digital magazine that brought to life Maine's extraordinary natural landscape and colorful, vibrant history and culture. It was a unique approach to tourism marketing for its time. It appeared in the Communication Arts 2015 Interactive Annual.
"CHASING THE SUN"
This issue was a collaboration between the Maine Office of Tourism and iconic Maine brand LL Bean. The site chronicled 5 friends' adventurous weekend in Maine, which included cliff jumping, camping, climbing mountains and yes, eating lobster. They were all outfitted, of course, in LL Bean clothing and gear.
One of America's most majestic national parks, Acadia is one of Maine's greatest treasures. This issue takes you through its storied history, its many scenic and iconic sites, and its Wabanaki heritage. There's no place like it.
